Rajathan, literally meaning the land of the Kings has unmatched charm in today’s globalised world boasting more a glorious past with an urban blend. It is the largest state of the Indian Republic with respect to area. Being one of the most beautiful states in India, Rajasthan has been attracting domestic as well as foreign tourists since many decades.
The wildlife in the Ranthambore National Park is really breath taking. Ranthambore is by far one of the most famous and one of the highly visited wildlife sanctuaries in India. The sparsely wooded terrain of Ranthambore makes it easy to spot tigers or some of the other birds and animals that include nearly 30 species of mammals, 12 species of reptiles including crocodiles and almost 270 species of birds. The only way to visit the sanctuary is by the jeeps and canters (open trucks) monitored by the forest department. It is spread over an area of four hundred square kilometers.
