Se recomanda ca atunci cand la anvelopele de vara adancimea canelurilor benzii de rulare scade sub 3 mm, iar la anvelopele de iarna sub 4 mm, sa se schimbe aceste anvelope. Recomandarea are la baza constatarea ca in aceste situatii apa nu se mai evacueaza in totalitate, provocand producerea acvaplanarii. Atunci cand apare o uzura neuniforma la anvelpe inseamna ca presiunea este necorespunzatoare.
