Fayetteville has a strong military heritage, boasting many war monuments and battle sites dating back to the founding of our country. Add to that the fact that Fayetteville is also the home to Fort Bragg Army and Pope Air Force bases and it becomes very easy to see this charming Southern town as a wonderful memorial to the US military past and present.
